I have implement the skin in DNN 5+ but the panes are not visible in the page, Can any anyone tell me what could be the reason behind this, I have applied the same skin which I have used for DNN 4.9 , I also want to know that is there anything different in skin creation for DNN 5+ or DNN 4.9 or can we use the same skin for DNN 5+ also,

Please help me in this, as this is very urgent..

Waiting for +ve reponse.

First of all: which skin-package? And what is your problem? Aren't you able to place modules? Is the pane listbox empty?

The panes, or better speaking the borders of the panes are only visible when you are in Design Mode (see upper left corner!).

I installed several "old" skins in my 5-Dnn-installation and everything works pretty fine.

Yes, there are some differences between 4 and 5 skinning, i don't know exactly which one, but as far as i can say 5++ is downwards compatible.

Yes, i know this behaviour as well. It was different in pre 5 versions and i do not like it either.

I don't know whether, and if so, how to change it, i guess it is in the core.

Maybe a DotNetNuke-Guru could answer this question?

I agree, hiding the panes during normal editing make no sense. To force the mode switch just to confirm or identify where I want a module placed is just an extra click. Please leave the panes as visible when in the normal edit mode.
