I recently upgraded my Forum module to the most recent release.  Ever since then I cannot get into the module.  I receive the following error.  Any ideas?

Error: Hasty Forums is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: \\boswinfs01\home\users\web\b107\ez.jefboo\dnn\DesktopModules\Forum\Forum_Container.ascx(3): error BC30451: Name 'ForumConfig' is not declared. ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException: \\boswinfs01\home\users\web\b107\ez.jefboo\dnn\DesktopModules\Forum\Forum_Container.ascx(3): error BC30451: Name 'ForumConfig' is not declared. at System.Web.Compilation.AssemblyBuilder.Compile() at System.Web.Compilation.BuildProvidersCompiler.PerformBuild() at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResult(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

This might be a permissions issue on your install, it could also be a number of other things. What it does come down to (from what i can see here) is either the module didn't install properly or you have a file permissions issue. The class it is looking for, ForumConfig, is the foundation of the module and is most certainly within the Forum dll (which should be in the bin directory).

Hmmm .... I did a reinstall to which it came back successful, but it still doesn't work.  I will investigate the permissions side.  What is weird is that if this is  permissions issue why didn't this happen before in the previous versions.   Since this is a foundation piece of the puzzle I would have thought whatever permission it had before would not have changed.

A Upgrade of a hosting application can reset the permissions to the standard settings.  So if you use a hosting and your ISP makes a upgrade of the hosting application, this could be.  Also in the last DNN upgrades there was a lot of breaking changes.  So some information of the module version and DNN version is always helpfull.
