Hi

I've had my site live for a few weeks now and all seems to be going ok.  However every few days I recieve the following error:

UserAgent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1)
DefaultDataProvider: DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.SqlDataProvider
ExceptionGUID: 0a65f3f8-8894-49b3-a846-e38a4109020e

Method: System.Web.Script.Serialization.JavaScriptObjectDeserializer.DeserializePrimitiveObject

I've been checking the forums and it seems to suggest it's related to ajax. The problem for me is that i have no way of recreating this error and the page that generates it doesn't use ajax as far as i know.

If anyone could point me in the right direction with this i'd be very grateful.

When does this erroro occcur exactly?

is it happening with a user or a search engine, which might not be covered by browser caps?

Forgive my ignorance, but what are browser caps?

Quick google later > Do you mean the <browserCaps> in web.config because my dnn install doesn't have this. I'm guessing this is a search bot as i've tested my site in nearly every obscure browser there is and i can't recreate the error.

check out /app_browsers/ folder, where browsers are identified and (should be) handled appropriately

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.ArgumentException: Invalid JSON primitive

==> MY site suddenly encounters this problem as well. Serious issue for our webshop. People cannot login due to this error and thus not checkout. Strange thing is that under different portal alias there is no problem. On the portalalias with the problem also java script errors show up.

Help appreciated here.

J.
