Hi, I don't know if I'm in the right place to ask this question, but I hope you'll give me some hint!

I'm creating a web site for a Ski Ressort.
I want it to have 2 seasons: summer & winter.
There will be a link in the top on the page to switch between my 2 seasons...
When you will be in the summer site, you will see only pages that talk about summer. But you will also see some pages that will be the same as in the winter site, like Contact, How to get there, About us, etc.

So I'm not very sure about the way to create the website structure...

I have try to create 2 portails.
I started with the "winter" website.
I create all my pages and all my modules in this portail.
I also create all the modules (ex: a text in the Contact page)  that I want to share (with the summer site)

But when I'm in the summer portail, I don't see the modules that I want to share, the modules doesn't appear when I want to "Add an existing modules"...

So I think that I only have to create 1 portail.

But how can I hide the "winter" pages when I click on "summer" link and how can I hide the "summer" pages when I click on "winter" link?

thank you for your help, it will be very appreciated!

Max,

I fear, you are in the wrong forum, but anyhow:

have a look at the solpart documentation in the skinning guide - afair there is an option to specify the root or top level, so using this you can devide your site up like:

  • summer
    • page1
      • ...
    • page2
      • ...
    • contact
  • winter
    • page A
      • ...
    • page B
      • ...
    • contact
  • admin
  • host

Hi,
where am I suppose to ask that kind of question in this forum??

For your answer, Is it possible to HIDE the winter pages when I'm in the summer site and HIDE summer pages when i'm in the winter site?

My website structure is like this...

The mountain (visible in both season)
  • ski & surf (visible only in winter)
  • x-country skiing (visible only in winter)
  • mountain bike (visible only in summer)
  • etc...

Rates & Schedule(visible in both season)
  • ski (visible only in winter)
  • x-country skiing (visible only in winter)
  • mountain bike (visible only in summer)
  • golf (visible only in summer)
  • etc...
