 Hi,

Has the premium module behaviour changed in DNN 5+?

When I set some modules to premium, and then login with a non admin/host user, not one module is available in the dropdownlist where a user would normaly add module to the tab.

Thanks!

Accepted Answer

you need to grant "Publish" permission for Module Definitions to selected Roles in Admin :: Extensions.

I have the same issue.  Premium Modules used to show in that drop down list in the control panel at the top. Now they are no longer available.

I went to Admin :: Extensions and couldn't find any reference to grant "Publish" permission to roles.  Can you direct me to the right location?

I'm using DNN 5.1.4.

From the admin/extensions page click on the Edit pencil next to each of the modules, from that edit screen you should find a permissions grid for setting up the deployment
