 Hello,

I have add zh-TW translation for the Pages menu item, but it remains to be displayed as "Pages" in the zh-TW language view. Does any body know the reason why "Pages" menu item can't be localized?

Hello,

I am using 5.1. I have an impression that this situation exists in all sub-versions of 5.1.

I have translate //Admin//Tabs.String (the resulting string is "網頁") and put it into GlobalResources.zh-TW.resx file.

When I switch to the zh-TW from en-US, it still gets displayed as "Pages".

Hello shortie,

You are right, the Admin-Pages menu item does not take its name from the resource you've pointed out. This is indeed an unexpected behavior. However, I have found something interesting that may solve your problem:

1. Click the Admin-Pages menu option and within the Listbox, select the 'Pages' item, indented under Admin.

2. Then, under Actions on the right, click on the blue pencil (Edit Selected Page). 

3. Change the Page Name and Page Title options to match your needs.

4. Voilá! :-) Play around with this method, you will see that it may give you some greater control over the text resources than the traditional resx edition we are used to work with.

I know this workaround. But our site adminstrators uses zh-CN and zh-TW both, this workaround doesn't work quite well.

Do you know if this issue will be addressed in the following release or not?
