I am just wondering why the Meta Tag (page/settings/advanced/page header tags) is actually visable above my web page?

The Meta Tags displays between my skin and the bottm of the browser tool bars?

I've just never seen this on any other site, so just wondering what I am doing wrong or if it is a skin problem??

Using "flexible skin pack" by bestdnn and DNN v4.9.5

I only have 1 page set right now w/ metatags http://www.yourlocalsportsboard.com/EventsBoard/tabid/138/Default.aspx

Not 100% sure why, but the description is being rendered in two places, first in the header meta tag as it should, then in the body tag, just after it is opened.

Does this go away if you switch to the default skin?

you need to enter a meta tag (properly formatted < meta ... ), not plain text into this setting. Use description setting to provide SEO text for page description

Since I was working in the "settings/Page Management" Fields I didn't think I needed to do any formatting in each block(Field)

So if I understand correctly I put "<" and ">" on each end of my description. Also changed it to a few singular words, not a full description sentence.

Now the Meta Tags Do Not appear at the top of the page as before but still show up in the "View source" option, so I guess this is the right formatting you are mentioning??

Thanks for great help....sorry for being an idiot, but that what I love about DNN. Pro's giving plenty of tips to guys like me
