Hello all,

I have the dotnetnuke starter kit installed and i am running it in VWD 2008 Express. My question is this, when i initially unzipped all the dotnetnuke starter kit files into a folder and i opened up a web application project in VWD, i had to go through a installation of the starter kit. Now that went all fine, now when i export the project in the current state, and somebody else opens it up on their machine, will they have to go through the install process that i went through when i started the project initially, provided that they don't have dotnetnuke installed on their machine already?

Thank you for your help,

Lovac

starter kit consists of DNN installation and templates for module and skin development.

after you set up a web site, it can easily be transferred, as described in the pinned post in top of the "install it!" forum.

created modules and skins need to be packaged for distribution to other DNN installations (like extensions bundled / on codeplex / on snowcovered).

Cheers from Germany,
