regarding original questions: you are referencing a personal statement of a community member, who thankfully wants to contribute.

Please note, that this isn't based on data from DotNetNuke Corp. or the Core Team. I apologize for any confusion.

The information that was on my blog was based on a survey that was on PowerDNN site and not something that I put together. With that said,  I have contacted Tony Valenti  from PowerDNN and he is looking into the misleadings from his survey  and I'm sure that he'll fix it in the survey. Quite frankly, I thought the survey was a good idea for those who don't know which way to go with there decision on Community vs Professional edition.

When you post something like that, you implicitly give it your approval. As for PowerDNN, they might have their own agenda. Frankly their CE vs PE wizard is geared towards DNN newbies who don't know better.

Interestingly, today I became aware of the Elite Edition & Elite Edition Premier editions of DNN. So there are 4 editions now.

Starting with DNN 5.2.0 there will be a fifth one called "Express Edition", which is CE plus a fixed number of support tickets.
