Hi Sagar,

yes, upgrading to the latest version is the suggested operation in my opinion. The latest version features many additional fixes and enhancements that your users and your readers will appreciate. Of course, the upgrade will mantain all your previous blog posts and all your settings. Let me know if you run into any issue, or if you need any further help.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

just an FYI.  we have been moving all of our bloggers over to Windows Live Writer so they can take advantage of the automatic picture upload/resizing, etc and all the other features.

However, we have tried four different file upload plugins to WLW to see if we can allow users to upload files (PDF, ZIP).  in each case, when we prepare the blog, the new post directory is not created and the files that were uploaded end up in a  _temp_images directory on the server.

Since their behavior is exactly the same, I'm guessing this is a limitation in 3.5.1?  The user has no problem uploading through the Blog interface on the site.  when they do the upload, the new directory is created and the file is upload to it's proper place. but no dice in WLV.  this is a serious limitation since we have teachers who upload PDF assignments all the time.

--------------13 <----the new directory should be created and then the file placed here.

Are we missing something, has this been already recognized and  addressed?
