Did removing the non-www version of the portal alias fix the problem?

I don't know why you're getting the error, because I haven't seen this behaviour before.  You would have to replicate the problem on a development environment and then trace the code to see why it is happening.  It could be any combination of things.

The module I was speaking of is downloadable at my website : just follow the link in my forum post footer.

Removing the non-www does not seem to fix the problem. We have multiple sites on one instance of DNN. For some reason one of our sites appears to be working correctly. But all the others are still removing the "www" when you click on "login" or "logout". Is there any other place in the database (other than portal alias) that stores the url? We've tried removing the non-www version and clearing the cache and starting the application and IIS and it still is not working...
