Installed it on Vista 64 ultimate. In a directory called D:\websamples\dotnetnuke
Since then all my websites on my development system no longer work. What I see is that I now have two sites under IIS:
the standard 'Default Web SIte' and 'websamples'. The last one contains dotnetnuke. And is the only website that works on my system. All my virtual directories under 'default web site' no longer work, These virtual directories are all subdirectories of c:\inetpub\wwwroot. However if I try to open one of these sites, (using Browse from IIS), I get a 404 error, and the physicalpath it shows always starts with 'd:\websamples\...', so for example I have a site named kwamutegen, located in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\kwamutegen, if I browse to this site I get a 404, resource not found, PhysicalPath: d:\websamples\kwamutegen.
If I look at the properties of the site it shows the correct directory, If I remove the site and add it again , the problem remains. One thing I noticed is that the icon in IIS next to websamples is the normal globe, while the icon next to 'Default Web SIte' is a globe with a tiny question mark.
Anyway to resolve this? Thanks Ben
