i have created template and trying to deploy it through site wizard.

i am not able to get all old portal pages on new portal.

i have some ascx pages in particular old portal id folder , that files are not there in new portal id folder after using site wizard.

can you please tell me, is there any way other than site wizard?

some settings are not included in portal template, AFAIK there have been improvements made to upcoming DNN 5.2.0

I have upgraded my site to new DNN version 5.2.2 also created portal and template is applied through site wizard

still all the pages of old portal are not there in the new portal.

Can you please suggest me any solution?

In case someone will encounter the same issue:

1. Login as host. Go to Host->Host Settings->Advanced Settings->Other Setting and add "ascx" to list of allowable file extensions.
2. Go to Admin->File Manager and select folder with .ascx files
3. Click on "Synchronize Files" button

Now .ascx files from synchorinzed folders will be added to portal template and subsequently copied in new portal folder
