Why is it that in VB.NET I don't have to use the OnCommand property with the dnn:CommandButton, but in C# I do?  Both have AutoEventWireUp set to true, so shouldn't the event handler fire without the use of OnCommand?  Why is that different between the two languages?

i.e., In VB I can use this:

<dnn:CommandButton ID="cmdCancel" runat="server" ResourceKey="cmdCancel" Text="Cancel" ImageUrl="~/images/lt.gif" CausesValidation="False"  />

But in C# I have to use this:

<dnn:CommandButton ID="cmdCancel" runat="server" ResourceKey="cmdCancel" Text="Cancel" ImageUrl="~/images/lt.gif" CausesValidation="False" OnCommand="cmdCancel_Click" />

Most likely this is due to the fact that AutoEventWireup only applies to the usage of the Page_Load and similar methods.

VB.NET controls have their handlers registered in the codebehind with the "Handles cmdCancel.Command" or similar declaration.

For C# you use the OnCommand property of the button to acheive the same thing.
