Alex,

Starter Kit is for module developers only, in all other cases, using install package is suggested - or use MS pattform installer (see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Development/Downloads/CommunityEditionDownload/tabid/1369/Default.aspx), which is much more convenient.

Hi

I downloaded the starterkit, created a new web site and got the same error as you. The solution was simple:

In the created web site, locate the HTML module install package in

  /Install/Module/HTML_Community_05.02.00_Install.zip

inside this zip in the bin folder you copy the DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.dll file and place it in the web sites bin folder ( /bin )

Now you can compile and run the DotNetNuke installation, which will install the HTML module correctly and remove the module install zip file.

I guess that you could also just have deleted the DesktopModules/HTML module folder... which is even simpler - but I haven tried it yet.

Hi

Now I have tried it, - and it is working:

After creating a web site with the starterkit, locate the folder HTML in the DesktopModules folder and delete it - thats it.

Now the solution will compile and you can continue with the rest of the dnn installation, which will recreate the HTML folder.
