Hi,

When I insert a image in a module with a link the following code is made.
<p><a href="/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=tQVkU2EMbwM%3d&amp;tabid=36"><img height="267" alt="" width="200" src="/Portals/0/Images/Art/Onderweg/Fire Hydrant.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>&#160;</p>
When I click on this link the full pictue wil be displayed.

However, when I log out as host, and click again on this image I got the following error.

The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /LinkClick.aspx

So, logged in, it works OK, logged out and the error is dispalyed.
The administrator of the server reset all the file permissions and made it available .
Somebody has an advice?

Regards, Ton Hermes

Ton,

linkclick.aspx validates DNN permissions for the folder, the image is residing. If you want to provide the image to the public, I suggest not using linkclick, i.e. do not check "open in new window" or "track clicks" or logging, when adding the link.

Hi Sebastian,

It works ok now.
I have added the image trough the interface of FCK. (Click on insert image icon etc....).
Then I added manualy the link to the picture, so it opens in a big window.

What is the reason I cannot use the FCK interface anymore?
Is the DNN 5.1.4. installation on my server corrupt?
Do I have to instal the fck editor again?

I have got a lot of trouble since I decided to get myself a new skin..
It started when they sold me on snowcovered.com a skin from cyberspace solutions, that was incompatible with DNN 4.9.5. ,to the mesh I'am in now.
I can send you the story if you are interested.

Anyway, again thanks for your answer(s) mr. dotnetnuke.
No Sebastian, No DNN
Regards, Ton
