I have a button column in a data grid that when clicked allows you to download a file. Everything works fine when the use has edit permissions on the module, but when they have view only the button does nothing. When debugging I have a break point set for when the button is clicked, but the ItemCommand event is not even triggered when the user has view only permissions. I assume that DotNetNuke does something like disables commands when the user has view permissions. Is there any way around this?

In the module's settings, make sure that the Cache Time is set to 0.
