I wonder what is the way to configure the IIS for DNN version 4.7 works in a more optimized.

Currently we have a problem with the handling of meetings, we got in an iframe a query to a database that generates reports and create many users who enter through the Basic Authentication DNN.

Since then the server been presenting serious problems with its operation and is constantly falling out the page.

I would appreciate any assistance you can offer us is with regard to IIS or something you think we might be going through that we do not know what else to do.

if you encounter issues with an iframed solution, this cannot be cached by DNN. if the iframed page or it's data isn't cached, you will have few chance, to improve the permformance.

To start you analysis, use Task manager to validate, which process does have high CPU usage and use database reports, to identify bottleneck queries.

Hi Sebastina :

We have already made these checks, and found that the working process (w3wp.exe) of IIS consumes 100% CPU and can be released only through a iisreset, but this does not last long and again consumed the CPU.

I have other questions:

1. How can I make the DNN pages load much faster pages?
2. How many concurrent users can I have?
3. DNN has some limitation in handling sessions or how can I optimize this?
4. What should be the optimum size of the table of logs. Currently when the table has automated the 1.5 Gb emptied.

I really appreciate all the help you can give us, because we have lots of time with this inconvenience and our website is accessed by different companies in the country, we have about 600 concurrent users and possibly 80% are authenticated in the DNN.

Many thanks for your help
