Hello - I'm a (reasonably) seasoned web CMS developer, but very new to DNN and not even all that experienced with Visual Studio. So apologies if my question is a dumb one...

I guess I'm not sure how to use the text tokens (e.g. [Portal:portalname]) in ASCX page for a skin. I've got this:

<dnn:TEXT runat="server" id="dnnTEXT" CssClass="something" text="Who am I??" resource="howshouldiknow" />

But I'm not seeing how to add the token that way. (I assume it's possible.) I've been around the boards looking for an answer but I fear it's so phenominally entry-level that it's just assumed that if you don't get this then you have no business using DNN in the first place. Alas, here I am.

Thanks in advance for your patience...

Okay, I jumped the gun with this post and found the solution on my own.

<dnn:TEXT runat="server" id="dnnTEXT" CssClass="something" Text="[Portal:portalname]" replaceTokens="true" />

As I suspected, it was obnoxiously obvious and I'm embarrassed for even asking. Siiigh...
