I have searched online for this without success. Can anybody tell me how can I effectively assign each domain I am hosting (all different clients of course) with their own SMTP server.

The only setting I can see is under the HOST account and so when people register from domainA.com they are receiving emails from my domain, which they don't even know who is coming from nor they recognize the domain.

I upgraded to DNN Version 5.1 currently and that one still does not have a way for me to specify a different mail server or account for each particular hosted domain.

Am I the only one that has this setup? If not, if someone is hosting multiple portals for different domains, can that person share how he/she is accomplishing this without any third party software. Actually, if that's the only way you are doing it, I want to know too.

Just started doing DNN as a hobby for some friends and now I have 15 domains under it (not longer friends only).

Thanks for sharing any knowledge.

With all the people I know that are using Dotnetnuke, I find hard to believe I am the only person under this situation.

If this is not something anyone has been able to figure out and also, knowing the limitations DNN has to allow an email form (like an ASP email form) to be configured within DNN, then what are the options?

I was thinking about using an ASP-type email form in the contact page for each domain and use each domain's specific account parameters to send emails from that form and it will not come from the primary domain the host is setup to run as. The challange is to create the form from within DNN without failing, as the DNN aspx page is a form by itself and won't allow nested forms.

Can anyone out there shed some lights on this? I am not a programer by no means, but with time dedicated I have been able to figure things out (tthanks to Google mainly).

currently only a single SMTP server is supported per installation, if you provide portals for different domains, your server needs to support senders from multiple accounts, usually the SMTP server is granted routing for all posts emitted from the web server.
