Hi Alex

My issue turned out not to have been an ZoneAlarms issue but rather an issue with my ISP. I had the same problem logging into my ISP's admin web site as I did into dotnetnuke. But I didn't have any issues with other sites.

I managed to keep chasing them up and they must have put some change in on their backend which created this issue that they finally found after numerous calls and attempted fixes. I suspect it might have been an privilege, proxy(theirs) or .Net implementation issue. They couldn't replicate the issue real easy because they used accounts in their local state (in Australia) rather than the state I was in, so it was a local ISP implementation issue.

Sorry this info might not really help much.

Rob

thx Rob.

Well  I am sure the problemmaker is ZoneAlarm.  When I start DNN the "privicy advisor popup" says that it blocked the cookie.  So I schould fix this in zonealarm but until now I tried everything in zonealarm that my poor brains say me to do but to no use.  I have posted the problem in a zonealarm forum but no answer until now... it seems that there are a lot of people experiencing the same cookie problem.
