I was attempting a live upgrade from 4.07 to 5.02 and encountered problems.  I reloaded the old DNN installation and when I went to restore the database I realized I had i nadvertently backed-up the wrong database.

What are my options to get things back-up and running.  Is there a way to repair the database or undo the changes the upgrade made?

I have an old copy of the database that is over a week old on my localhost, but I'm hoping I can repair the current one.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.

Fred

poor boy,

there is no option to revert the database, your only chance is now to get all upgrade steps executed in order. check out /providers/dataproviders/sqldataproviders/*.log files to identify missing bits and get the upgraded site running.

Good luck!
