Hi,

I recently upgraded the framework of our website to  DNN 4.9.5. Now, when I load a module on a page, it does not alway appear on the page in my browser. If I refresh my browser, the module disappears, then if I refresh the page again, the module appears. This pattern will continue within the first day of adding the module to a page on my site and then the module always appears on the page. I verified the module definition is in the database, but for some reason the browser does not always display the module. The same thing occurs when I add a page to my site. It will be visible in the list of pages, then the next minute it will not be. Just like the modules, it takes about a day for the page to always be shown.

As always, any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Matt

I've seen this happen before when cache has not been syncronised i.e. either you're running a webfarm and haven't set up the necessary caching provider, or else you're running a webgarden (dotnetnuke does not support them), or else you're running a database cluster that has a delayed syncronisation.

Hey,

We are set up for a webfarm. We have been running this way for 3 years with no trouble. Since we upgraded from 4.3.7 to 4.9.5 a few weeks ago we are having this problem.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks again!

I forgot to mention, I read the Dot Net Nuke Web Farm Support Documentation and we have all the correct entries in our web.config file and we have everything done that the documentations says we need to.

Sorry. Just to be clear, we are a web farm, not a web garden, and in the databse the "isDeleted" bit  for the module is set to 1, meaning the module is deleted, but the module will appear and disappear for about a day after it is deleted and then it will not appear on the page any more.

Thanks again!
