Ok Timo,Can you please mention the path of the xslt where your change has worked

So you have checked it with 6.2.4 and 6.2.5 installation [these are the version whcih i have to support.]

I will now check by disabling the caching and will change @text to @title in all available xslt files then let see what happened

I just upgraded my DNN 6.2.1 test install ot 6.2.5.
Tested on the default skin.

Open this file: \Portals\_default\Skins\DarkKnight\DNNMega\DNNMega.xslt
Replace @text with @title

And you see the title in the menu (which is sometimes empty) when using the DNN Dark knight skin with mega menu.

Thanks a lot it was the caching issue when testing with darknight DNNMega.xslt
providing title does well there.
But in my skin [a custom one] when i change any thing in the xslt file there it didn't have any efffect [even clearing the content of DNNMega.xslt residing there]
What i seen is that there is

<dnn:NAV runat="server" ID="dnnNAV" ProviderName="DNNMenuNavigationProvider" IndicateChildren="false"
                                            IndicateChildImageRoot="[SKINPATH]images/spacer.gif" IndicateChildImageSub="[SKINPATH]images/arrow.gif"
                                            SeparatorHTML="<span class="tab-sep">|</span>" CSSNodeRoot="mainmenu-idle EMMainMenuItemOff EMBaseColour1 EMMainMenuFont"
                                            CSSNodeSelectedRoot="mainmenu-selected EMBaseColour2 EMMainMenuItemOn EMMainMenuFont"
                                            CSSNodeHoverRoot="mainmenu-selected EMBaseColour2 EMMainMenuItemOnHover EMMainMenuFont"
                                            CSSBreadCrumbRoot="mainmenu-selected EMBaseColour2 EMMainMenuItemOn EMMainMenuFont"
                                            CSSNode="mainmenu-menuitem EMSubMenuItemOff EMMainMenuFont" CSSContainerSub="mainmenu-submenu EMSubMenuItemBGOff EMMainMenuFont EMSubMenuOpacity"
                                            CSSNodeHoverSub="submenu-menuitemsel EMSubMenuItemBGOn EMSubMenuItemOn EMMainMenuFont">
                                            <CustomAttributes>
                                                <dnn:CustomAttribute Name="AnimationType" Value="Slide" />
                                                <dnn:CustomAttribute Name="EasingType" Value="Sine" />
                                                <dnn:CustomAttribute Name="EasingDirection" Value="Out" />
                                                <dnn:CustomAttribute Name="AnimationLength" Value="1" />
                                                <dnn:CustomAttribute Name="AnimationInterval" Value="10" />
                                            </CustomAttributes>
                                        </dnn:NAV>

control which is rendering the menu.
Any idea how can i control it over there

Ah, you are using the old unsupported NAV menu, not DDR menu.
I cannot help you there, I never used it (used my own component until DDR came out)
It's best to switch to DDR menu...
