It might not hurt to setup the CSS in the FCK editor to show the QUOTE functionality better.

If you try to quote someone's reply it makes it hard to see their content versus your content until you post it and the CSS gets properly applied.

Totally agree.

Also there is another bug - Preview of your post shows html markup

Another trivial issue - I can report my own post LOL.

Here is what was done and installed 12/23  4 AM EST:

  • Links (actual a tag in HTML) are an issue in post body (This is parsing, during posting process)
  • Move Thread: Has broken images, doesn't work.
  • Move Thread: Treeview not using Telerik one.
  • Search: Start/End date validation needs done.
  • Search: Currently allowing parent forums to be checked, this should not be permitted.
  • Post Edit: Post Preview Not Showing HTML Properly.
  • Post Edit: Preview heading/containing tables.
  • Thread Split: Treeview not using Telerik one.
  • Forum Module Settings: Treeview not using Telerik one.
  • Notifications: Forums: Last Post Notes needs BR
  • Notifications: Threads: Last Post Notes needs BR
  • Bookmarks: Last Posted Notes needs BR
  • Verify Notifications are working (at forum/thread levels).

Another trivial issue - I can report my own post LOL.: This is by design, what if you duplicated a post and wanted to notify a moderator to delete it?

I replied in another thread (search by authors is still broken with new forums) and from submitting my reply to the page reloading and displaying the updated thread took 3 minutes! I thought maybe the site was undergoing an app restart, but in another browser I was able to browse the forums fine while waiting.

I'll time how long it takes this reply to submit .....

2 mins 30 seconds for that last one.

On a slight tangent - would you consider adding a "Quick Reply" feature to a future version? Quick Reply would be a text box (allowing a plain text reply to be entered) and a Reply button at the foot of the thread. I know it wouldn't solve the slow submission problem, but it would eliminate the delay of loading a new page and a text editor. Most of the time I would guess people don't need a full text editor to post their reply - a plain text reply is fine.
