This is a fairly generic error that could have several causes depending at what point in the install it occurred. Most often it indicates a problem with one or both of the database connection strings in the site's web.config file.

What version of DNN are you installing?

Are you using the install wizard? If so, which installation mode - typical, custom, or legacy (without wizard)? Did you test your connection to the database in the second (or third) step of the wizard?

Another problem here when i convert the virtual directory in iis7 into application when i test the connection

The server is configured to use pass-through authentication with a built-in account to access the specified physical path. However, IIS Manager cannot verify whether the built-in account has access. Make sure that the application pool identity has Read access to the physical path. If this server is joined to a domain, and the application pool identity is NetworkService or LocalSystem, verify that <domain>\<computer_name>$ has Read access to the physical path. Then test these settings again
