I am on DNN 5.x and have Links module installed.

I have added a link to

When I check "

Error: is currently unavailable.

Link gets added correctly though, it seems I cannot set the link to open in a new window at all and how can I force it to prompt the open/save dialog rather than link opening in the same window by default?

I am not sure about the cause of the errors, but I can respond in regards to your question about the open/save dialog.

The user being prompted for Open/Save is based on their individual browser settings, so depending on the content type of the file, and the users previous selections, that will dictate which items prompt and which are automatically opened.
