Hi Guys,

I ran my DNN portal through a website optimizer and am getting a lot of errors on cookies. The exact message is posted below:

FAILED (Static object with 3 cookies - 140 bytes) - http://mywebsite.com/Resources/Shared...
cookie:.ASPXANONYMOUS=fnNyebq-ygEkAAAAN2M0NTI0MDUtYzg3Ni00NTJkLTg1OWUtMjBjZmZiMTNiYjg20
cookie: ASP.NET_SessionId=vkcnk0b3b52fba451vsj2u45
cookie: language=en-US

Does anyone have some insight into this or how I can resolve it?

Thanks.

I found in the web.config file

<anonymousIdentification
   enabled="[true | false]"
   />

If you set it to false, that error message goes away. I do not know if this hinders functionality somehow somewhere.....

Does anyone know where I can disable the following 2 cookies? It would go a long way in performance optimizing DNN. Not sure if it impacts functionality somehow?

cookie:ASP.NET_SessionId=2rracbeo40mfsbquolqa2fjb
cookie: language=en-US

AFAIK you can't disable both ASP.Net cookies (not related to DNN)
