Trying to copy my site https://www.wordmasters.com/ back to my dev machine. (Site is version 04.09.05)

Got everything transfered and set the database up in the web.config.  Edited the portalalias in the DB to be:

localhost/DotNetNuke_2

When I navigate to http://localhost/DotNetNuke_2/ I get the text for the page, but all the image links and the menus are missing.

Images are missing the "DotNetNuke_2/" part of the path. Clicking any link gives me a 404 error.

Any ideas on what could be wrong here?

clear the cache and be aware, that content images in text/html are stored with server relative paths, i.e. will not show up by design.

Thanks for the reply, I had cleared the cache.  The second part, I was not aware of.  Kind of a bummer not being able to easily change the directory, but oh well.

Moved it to the root on my dev machine, verified it was working.  Did an upgrade to 5.02 and it succeeded, no failures.  But now I'm getting:

Webpage error details

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; GTB6.3; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648; .NET CLR 3.5.21022; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Any ideas?

Never mind... doing a reboot fixed it.

Now I have to figure out how to get to the Host and Admin pages which IIRC recall correctly require SSL.  (Probably a configuration problem on my end.)  Or, I have to figure out how to turn off the SSL requirement.

Currently the bomb out with a DNS error.
