When editing a post, modifying "Thread Status" results in a post back - imho an unnecessary one, which should be removed.

Where do you feel it is posting back? If it is in Post Edit, I have turned Ajax off due to issues with FCK and Ajax throughout the module's history. In the next update, I have ajax enabled in post view (which should resolve your issue if that is where you are seeing it).

Chris, yes, it is in post edit - and I don't see a need for a postback at all after changing thread type before submitting the change - except for moderator to edit type w/o marking the post as modified. IMHO it would be a great addition for moderators, to be able to change "pinned", "locked" and "thread type" w/o entering a post.

The thread status requires postback (unless we implement Ajax) for the reason of polls (Ie. making a thread into a poll is done via thread status). Thread status aside, you are asking for moderators to be permitted to edit a post without the edit label attached (be it for pin, lock, or post edit) as doing any one does result in an edit and it is unknown if you actually modified the content of the post.
