When upgrading from dnn 5.0.1 to dnn 5.2.1 there are issues with html module, I tried upgrading using both upgrade package and install package. In either case the upgrading process went well.

The problem with HTML module - I can not make the modules showing to unauthenticate users. Once logged in, everything is fine, I can add new html modules, editing content, view the content, no matter I logged in as host, admin, or as a user, things are fine. But once I logged out and view the site as an unauthenticated user, the html modules stopped showing. For the old content using html modules, some are showing, some are not; For all the newly added html modules no show at all.  Once logged in everything is there.

This ONLY happens when upgrading from dnn 5.0.1.

Any help is appreciated!

What version of the module do you show? It should be 5.2.0. If it's not, install it from the installation package. You'll find it in the Install/Module folder.

same problem here, but upgraded from 5.1.4

Yes I made sure the html module version is the latest 5.2.0. I even reinstalled it to make sure.  I've searched the forum and read the related posts.

Sometimes if a logged in user visited the html module page, the module will show to unauthenticated users as well for a short time, but only for a short while.

I've upgraded many dnn sites without issues but ONLY this one that is from dnn 5.0.1. This site has been running dnn 5.0.1 for a long time and there is no way for me to upgrade this site from any other dnn version. Much earlier when I tried to upgrade this site from dnn 5.0.1 to dnn 5.1.2, I had this issue. Then I tried upgrading to dnn 5.1.4, same problem; Now I thought the dnn5.2.1 would work, I am still having this issue.

Help!!!
