We recently did a new install of DNN 5.1.2 for a new client and were AMAZED to find it using Friendly URLs!? (see: http://www.tlwoodproducts.com/welcome...)

We finally found some spare time to upgrade our site to the latest DNN, 5.2.1 and were very disappointed to find that we do not have the same URL layout? (see: http://anysitehosting.com/Welcome/Def...)

Am I just missing something simple here?
I have checked and un-checked the Host, Host Settings, Friendly URL Settings, Use Friendly URLs checkbox several times with no luck. (short of the 'slightly friendlier' URL format of http://anysitehosting.com/welcome/Hos...)

Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated - I am unsure of how else to proceed to troubleshoot research this - never dug too much in to the workings of DNN, not being a programmer! ;)

Thanks all!

Friendly URLs are enabled/disabled in host settings, switching from default.aspx?tabid=123 to /tabid/123/default.aspx, while Human friendly URLs are enabled in web.config, read here. Note: HFU do not work in multilingual scenarios, unless you are using 3rd party tools like URL master from ifinity.com.au.
