I recently bought a skin from t-worx and now I can't get help from them to fix it! There are 2 problems with it, 1st... my company doesn’t want a register button on the login page.. I had originally asked them to get rid of registering all together and I thought that they had but when I went to the login page after my skin had been uploaded the "register" link was still there. I don’t know how to even access the login page to be able to try and erase it myself. I don’t see it on the pages menu. My 2nd problem is with the banners, you are supposed to be able to link from page to page with this banner. I am able to change the banners by appearance but when I re-upload them to the site, or even before I change the banners I am unable to link them from page to page. I am new to DotNetNuke and any help with this would be greatly appreciated! I have tried to contact Tracy from t-worx and he does not respond to any of my emails. The last email that I received from him said that if I needed these things to be fixed that I would have to pay hourly ($80) unfortunately we don’t have any more money to spend. Please Help! I am on a deadline to get our website up and running! If we don't have the banner this skin is worthless to us!

This is the skin that I purchased. http://eq.be49.t-worxpowersites.com/

welcome to DNN.

Regarding #1:

  • login as Administrator
  • go to Site Settings in Admin menu
  • search for Registration Mode
  • switch to "none"
  • save settings
  • "Register is gone

I don't fully understand #2, banners are usually for 3rd party ads, not to link from page to page. Do you have a link for your site? or are you referring  to the flash rotator on the home page?
