Is there a way to use fck's EMailProtection in the forum?  Hover over this email address and look at what's in the status bar.  If you look at the source while composing the post everything looks fine, but when it's submitted, "javascript" is removed and you get the malformed link.

Is there a way around this other than turning off EMailProtection for the site?

Did you figure out how to fix this?  I am guessing something during the submit is cleaning this up because it also happens on the Wiki posts.  It works great in the HTML module but we are going to have issues for basic users posting something to the board that does not know to past in the mailto and not use the on inside the link creation option for FCK Editor.

No, I'm still without a solution to this.

This is not actually FCK, its the forum itself using a core method to protect email addresses from bots in post content. Because of this, you would have to remove the call from the source and recompile.
