I have built a new DNN module for our company intranet and it works fine if you are logged in locally to the network from the office. However, I discovered yesterday that remote users are unable to see the tabs if they login through terminal services. As an admin I can login through terminal services and I have complete functionality. However, the technicians can get to the homepage for our intranet, but have no visibility of any of the tabs which they can see just fine when logged on locally while in the office. Also, the login link appears to be disabled as well as you can see it and click on it, but nothing happens. Without these tabs they can not navigate to where they need to in order to enter data into the module from outside the building. Does anybody have any ideas for me on how to resolve this?

Check if your using enhanced security in IE.You may also try adding the site as a trusted site.

Dave,

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I was waiting on an email to notify me that a reply had been posted, but it never came through. I actually already have our intranet homepage listed as a trusted site. I was hopeful when I read your suggestion, but then when I logged in I noticed that I'd already set it up at some point in the past. However, I think you are on to something. I tried logging in this morning as my test user that I had setup so it could replicate the problem the technicians are having and I got a notice that the enhanced security was blocking some functionality of the page. I've moved the address to my local intranet zone and even checked all security settings to make sure content is allowed. However, I keep getting the same problem.

Well, I just tried to test if it's really IE8 enhanced security or not by removing it from the terminal server, and after doing that, logging off, and then logging back in as my test user I no longer get the message that enhanced security has blocked anything, obviously, but I still can not see my tabs and the login link is still disabled. Any thoughts anybody?

Success....This issue has been resolved. For some reason, the web address of the intranet page was listed under the trusted sites already, but the setting didn't seem to hold. Upon removing it and re-adding it the problem was resolved.
