I have setup a blog, but I have a user that cannot create entries for the blog. In the module that is automatically created called "add/edit entries", the link "add blog entry" does not show up when that user is logged in. I even gave the user admin access for the site, but it still does not show up. Please help.

Thank you.

I usually create a role named "Bloggers".  If you grant that role edit permissions on the module for adding/editing blogs, users of that role are then able to create their own blog.  I am not sure if this would allow everyone in that role to post into each others blogs though.  Let me know if that helps?
