Using the documents module, we used to be able to select Add New Document, then choose Upload then Browse.  Locate the new file we wanted to upload, Add to the list of files to upload then click Upload File(s).  The file would then be uploaded and listed under that document module.  Now, you can't see the file under the document module but if you go to File Manager, the file is there.  I'm not sure what has changed.  Any ideas?

Ensure that the folder that you are uploading to has "View" permissions for the proper user group.  The module respects folder security.

I have a similar problem but it is file related. As of version 5 I notice I cannot upload .wmv files. Attempting to upload or access these files fail as the open dialog does not show .wmv files even though they are there and it is not a permission problem. I was wondering if this was a new behaviour or a bug. I am only able to see .doc and .pdf files even though in the portal setup, .wmv has been added to the list of supported files.

On Hostsettings in the advanced settings is a a list with allowed files, you have to add your extetion there.  Also think off, there is a restriction setting to 8 MB on the web.config file and one on the Telerik Provider to 4 MB.

Thanks for the response.
However, I had mentioned that those settings were adjusted. I did not have this issue on my dnn4 sites. I take it from this response that you do not have a similar problem?

Regards
