Need a little more information as I cannot reproduce this error during a 5.2.1 --> 5.2.2 upgrade.

How large is your site, how many pages(tabs) are on the site?

Are you running SQL 2005 or 2008?

Ken,

I think I know what went wrong. I did the upgrade old school by renaming te release.config to web.config and then performed the upgrade. Is there a way to do the sql upgrade seperate?

you may rerun upgrade script, located inside /providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider folder, from inside DNN (using Host :: SQL).
