Is it possible to hide folders from the FckEditor File Browser? I have a folder that I am saving user profile images in and each user has their own folder. The problem is there could be potentially thousands of folders and when administrators are editing text or whatever and need to use the File Browser, they have to scroll through hundreds if not thousands of folders since the File Browser shows all the folders/sub folders etc...

if users neither have read nor write access, the folder should be hidden.

The problem is, I want to hide that folder from administrators as well for the pull down only.  There will be so many, it really would make that pull down worthless and they will never need to pick them from the File Browser anyway. Not sure if it's even possible.  It wouldn't matter if they couldn't see the folder in the file manager either, I just need the files indexed.  I guess the other option would be to create an alternate file folder to index these files in and save the files outside the portal folder.

All you need to do is set the permission accorddingly in the File Manager page. User that not fall into the permitted role will not be able to view or write etc in that particular directory.

Thanks,
George

Right, but again, the problem is I can not exclude the Administrator role from viewing the folder.

The problem isn't a security issue as much as a convenience issue. When using the File Browser, the Administrator doesn't want to see all those folders.
