Hi,

I am trying to upgrade to the latest verions of DNN and I am getting a problem. I ftpied the content of the update package to the server and the upgrade sequence does not execute as usual and when I logon as host, I am still at version 5.2.1.

I went to the event viewer and I noticed that a lot of errors are generated everytime a page is access to the portal. When I say a lot, I mean hundred of error per minute.

The error is the following:

I tried to copy the update package 3 times and the update sequence does not start.

Any idea what is causing the problem?

Thanks

did you unzip files hiearchically?

besides, during upload, stop the site or at least prevent upgrade starting automatically by setting "auto upgrade" to false in web.config file.

Thank you for the reply.

I am with Godaddy, so I could not stop the site.  Thanks for letting me know the auto uprage option. I tried that las night and I didn't see the upgrade status, but I noticed that the errors where stop and the DNN version was at version 5.2.2.

Obviously, the site updates during the evening.

Stéphan
