I have a module that was originally written for 4.x that I am upgrading to 5.x.  I have two nagging warnings left to deal with though, both regarding the deprecated DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.ModuleInfo.Version.  The warning is "Deprecated in DNN 5.0. Replaced by DesktopModule.Version".  That seems obvious enough, but I can't seem to find the DesktopModule object.

Given an .ascx that implements PortalModuleBase and one that implements ModuleSettingsBase, how would I change the following sample C# code to implement the new method?

string foo = this.ModuleConfiguration.Version;

I feel silly asking this, I am sure there is a DesktopModuleInfo object haging out there somewhere, I am just not seeing it...

In DNN 5.x, the ModuleInfo class has added a new public property, DesktopModule, to which many of the properties formerly of the ModuleInfo class itself have been moved. So, you would write:

string foo=this.ModuleConfiguration.DesktopModule.Version;

Also note that there is another new public property of the ModuleInfo class, ModuleControl, which provides access to many of the properties of the currently loaded module control.

Ah, I knew it was going to be something blindingly obvious.  I was looking one level up, trying to replace ModuleConfiguration with DesktopModule, I wasn't looking for a DesktopModule property *on* ModuleConfiguration.  That makes perfect sense.  Thanks!
