Is it possible to display a column of data of all the usernames that exist on the portal?  Also wanted to put a checkbox next to every name?

No, it is not possible, at least not now.

On the day a new user select control like this has made it into the DNN core, I will integrate it into FnL. It will not work the other way round.

I found a long way of doing it with this module.  If I place a column with the 'link to user's profile' dropdown I can add the username it manual.  Unfortunately this is too tedious for what I require.

Any chance you could recommend a method for this requirement:
Every user has the same page with a tick box on it.
If the user ticks the box the this would show up on a list of all users

The challenge of your request are

  • the potentially huge number of users. Think of a portal with some thousands of users, or even bigger, some 100k  users like dotnetnuke.com
  • a potential disclosure leak, as only adminsitators (or other trustees)  should have access to the global user list.

Any enhancement here is of high risk. Again, I will not change anything here without implementing a Core wide solution.

I am sorry, I can't help here.
