I am very confused as to why we have a version 5 but LANGUAGE PACKS.

My site is currently offline awaiting the ability to show prices in £ and $.

When can we finally have the Language Packs

you can still user DNN 4 language packs, but will encounter missing translations and the installer has some caveats.

To add "English (UK)" with the same content, simply

  • go to Languages in Admin menu
  • select "add Language" from action menu
  • Select "English (United Kingdom)" as Language and "English (United States) as fallback
  • make sure to check "enabled" and save your changes.

I have tried this but I still cannot get £ sign on my products in my CataLook store. Only $.

My host tells me they need DNN v5 Language Packs to rectify this

Is there something they are missing?

following the steps I describes create a (virtual) language pack, which should be sufficient for most modules, but AFAIK Cataook behaves different, please contact their support.

I too am very confused -- I cannot find any DNN5 - specific language packs.  We run DNN 4.x with several language packs, and now we have DNN5 that needs to be localized.  Where do I go, and what do I look for?
