After upgrading our server to 5.2.2, every one of our DNN sites stopped working with Firefox. When a user tries to log in the first time after they have registeres and come back, and when trying to manage a user profile, Firefox just displays a bunch of symbols rather than actually doing what it is supposed to.

An older site running 4.94 is working just fine still, so I'm pretty sure it's a DNN issue.

Can anyone help me with this issue?


Firefox info (in case it helps): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20091221 Firefox/3.5.7 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Hi Mate,

Geez, what a screen shot, what an error. I am currently running the same version of firefox (3.5.7) and have successfully upgraded to 5.2.2 of DNN from 5.1.4. I have also had the same version upgrade on another site not work either, so there are some issues with 5.2.2. I believe they relate to portals of my site and a provider not coded correctly. I know they are on to a fix now, so I will wait until that shows up.

I hope 5.2.3 is more successful for you.

If anyone is looking for the answer to this it's GZIP! Even after updating the the newest 5.2.3 version, the issue still persisted. Disabling gzip corrected the problem and got everything running again....now to only let the developers know so they can solve it!
