I think i missed your e-mail somehow, sorry for that (i get quite a lot of e-mails...). Please send me one again, with "odove" in the subject, then i will send you a modified localization api that will generate language specific (unique) urls for each tab. This will be transparent, so all modules / skinobjects supporting my localization api will work with it.

cheers,

Erik

I just saw this thread. Check my site and try using the menus and links. You will see that DSLocalizator changes all URL (If you want)

I am working in a custom search results module to solve the problem with search results. but maybe it could take some time

fwiw, with my slightly less method, google indexes my site pretty good as well.... but i suppose i could bump my page rank to 6 if i did have a language parameter in my menu's. Right now, the pagerank switches between 4 and 5 when i view pages with or without language parameter.

I do have this ready in the new version i'm working on, but i'm also working on page redirecting, and i want to put that in the new version as well.

In general, it's my experience (please correct me if i'm wrong), there is too much focus on technology to get a better page rank. Sure, friendly urls help, sure one url per page helps, but in the end of the day... its all about content, and other sites linking to your sites.

Cheers,

Erik
