I downloaded an installed the "install" version of 5.2.2 on a new domain at my web host.   I did experience issues along the way which may or may not be related.

Anyway, now that my site is up and running, I note that the HTML/Text module is not listed from the Add New Module, Module: dropdown list.  I see many others, it is not blank, but HTML/Text is missing.

I'm pretty new still with DNN, but used the HTMLText module extensively on a prototype using and older 5.x installation.

Question: is the html module a part of the install package?  If so, how do I find it (again?)

HTML module needs to be included, do you see a prepopulated homepage for your new portal?

in this case, if the HTML module is not listed in module dropdown list within the control panel, go to Extensions in Admin Menu, select THML module and enter settings. save settings (maybe try to grant publish permission to another role and revoke it later).

Thanks for the reply.

No, once I completed the installation wizard - I did not see the normal dnn modules on the Home page.   Only the title and footer appeared.

And, no, HTML does not appear in the dropdown list, nor on any existing page, specifically the Home page.

Any suggestions?   How can I install HTML module on my site?

Unzip HTML install package from inside /install/module folder of your upgrade package and install using "Extension Install Wizard" in Host :: Extensions.

Thanks again for your reply.  I did follow your instructions, but now hit an error when adding that module.   Any thoughts
