hello

i am new to dotnetnuke.I have created the new skin and applied that . Now what i want is to customize every page according to the skin. What is the most standard and clean way of doing that?I am using dnn 5+.

Secondly i have inserted the html module on the home page? It has two panes (left, middle) I have inserted html module on the left and as well as middle pane.I want the left pane to be visible in every page. How will I do that.

can some one lead me to the tutorial Where can I find complete steps for making a skin and its container

thanks

Admin/Pages select a page to edit and the advanced settings will allow you to change the skin on that page or the default container.

you could also set a global one on admin/site settings, appearance.

The left pane probably collapses when you dont have any module there. if you put a text/html module with no container selected or no padding no title container and put a no breaking space that would keep it there so it does not collapse
