I have been using the DNNSpired AutoSizeFrame module and one of the nice features of this is the ability to pass in a different URL by using the AU_iFRAME= parameter,

However the problem with this is that the URL can be intercepted and can lead to phising issues.

So can I use the DNN iFrame so that I could still pass through a URL?

Is this functionality available and if so, how do I do it?

Secondly, if I do manage to do this, would it be a fairly simple task to add some validation in the module to check the validity of the URL passed in - I am comfortable with the vb.net code.

This functionality is not available for the exact reason you've stated in your post.

There are plans to add it together with a domain white list functionality. This way one could add an allowed domain to such list and only URLs pointing to a domain from such list would be allowed.

But... that's a plan...
