DotNetNuke version : 3.0.13
DotNet Version: 1.1.4322.2032
Gallery Version: 03.00.10

While the installation I had some issues with, I was able to resolve via the forums.

What I'm running into now is, the ability to adjust the settings for the gallery have disappeared.  I left the default settings when I first created the gallery.  In retrospect, I want to change the allowable upload size to somthing a bit bigger.  But for the life of me, I'm unable to find where that option went.

Interesting enough, when I look again, any of the options to adjust the module are missing.  I can't even remove the module from the page.

I'm thinking this isn't by design.

Has anyone else encountered this?  The only thing I've adjusted is the maintenance fix.  I'm going to roll that one back to see if it makes any difference.

Cheers,
Greg

It almost sounds to me like you have two module definitions of the same module.  This is very possible because in upgrading from dnn core 3.0.13 to 3.1 it renames it from Gallery to DNN_Gallery.  I would check your module definitions page and see if you have two instances.  Now that I think about it though those settings are tied to ModuleID.  I am not exactly sure what is happening but please do post back the results about the multiple module definitions for the same module.

I'm brand spanking new to DNN, but from what I see, I'm really liking it.  Please bear with me if I'm not fully up to speed on everything.

I'm gathering your talking about the modules pages where they are all listed.  There is just the one listed, "Gallery."

The system I'm working on, is a virgin install.  No upgrades or the likes.

Once thing I did notice, I'm not sure if this may have any bearing on it at all.  When I check the  module definitions, the "Gallery" does not have anything under the control field.

I don't recall ever going into this area, so I'm not sure if this correct or not.  Looking through the Gallery.DNN file, I'm guessing not, there is no key entry for the "Gallery" entry.

I've got a laptop, that I'm going to get thing loaded up on, and see if I can replicate the problem.  Again, a virgin install.  I'll post more with any findings.

Cheers,
greg

It's normal, no error with ModuleControls records. However I've found some strange issues with Gallery module on DNN 3.1.
I will investigate and fix

Well I though I should give an update.  I've reinstalled on a different computer, and have yet to replicate my problem.  I'm not sure what caused the original issue, but everything since is working as expected

If I replicate  the issue again, I will definitly give updates here.

Cheers,
Greg
