I have been attempting to upgrade DNN 4.0.2 to the latest version of DNN.  I decided to do it in stages and to perform and test each upgrade on a localhost site before applying it to a running site.  So I set out to do the first upgrade to 4.4.1, making sure the release.config was updated correctly and renamed to web.config.  The upgrade went smoothly and all items returned success.  In testing, the site appears to work as before in all aspects except one,   The File Manager no longer displays the Folder Tree on the left side.  I've only seen one other reference to this problem that someone else had and it doesn't appear to ever been resolved.  Does anyone have a fix to the File Manager to make it re-display the Folders / Files?  I have performed a recursive file synchonization to no avail -- even removed the files/folders from the database and resync'ed, which rebuilt the database table with new ids.  The File Manager still doesn't display the folder tree view of subdirectories under Portal 0.  Thinking this might be fixed by another upgrade, I upgraded again to 4.6.2.  But the File Manager still doesn't display the folders tree.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is preventing us from performing an upgrade!!
